What is the Boston Hill Center?
The Boston Hill Center is an innovative business center in downtown Marion, currently looking for tenants. Renovated and acquired by Marion Housing Authority in 2018, this historic former mall offers over 20 offices spread throughout three floors. It has the vibe of a coworking space, but the freedom and privacy of a personal office.
What kind of businesses are at the Boston Hill Center?

How much is rent?
Rent varies depending on the size, location and amenities of the space. Annual rent costs range from $10 to $12 per square foot. We prefer a minimum of a year lease.
How do I apply to be a tenant at the Boston Hill Center?
The first step is to review our Tenant Application page and complete a tenant application. Marion Housing Authority staff reviews applicants weekly. After reviewing applications, a property manager will connect with the potential tenant to discuss needs/wants to determine whether the business is consistent with our mall’s values and business model. What kind of businesses are nearby that my business can use?
Where is parking located?
Parking is located directly across the street, behind the building and off the street. However, designated parking spaces are available for rent for between $20 to $25 per month. For more information contact Janet Pearson, Marion’s city property manager, at 765-382-3774.
Does Boston HIll Center have a security system?
In 2018, the Boston HIll Center completely updated its security system with an electronic access control system. Now, tenants can enjoy 24-7 swipe access to the building using a physical or mobile key fob. During our tenants’ business hours (8 p.m. to 6 p.m.), doors are automatically unlocked.
What kind of floor plan options are available?
Because the Boston Hill Center is in the midst of renovations, your business may have the option to individualize your office space. What’s the history behind the Boston Hill Center?
The Boston Hill Center is over 100 years old! In 1900 it was first built and named Hills Department Store and was later renamed and remodeled in the ’80s as Centrum Mall. In Nov. 2017, Marion Housing Authority acquired the building and is currently in the process of updating and renovating the space to reflect Marion businesses’ needs.
Can I host events at the Boston Hill Center?
